2017 in Review
2017 is almost over. Crazy how fast it went.
This morning while I was eating my egg and cheese sandwich I thought a lot about how my 2017 went.
It was hard.
I published 3 books. Long Drive, How you get the girl, and Dawn. Normally I would have squeezed in another one in there but I took some time off.
I almost expanded my real life business. Glad I didn't.
I went into a depression like state for months, and did everything to get out of it. Which I feel I am. I have my moments like everyone else. I'm growing, I'm learning, and I'm still making mistakes. But I feel stronger than I have this whole year.
Everything happens for a reason. It's something I have always believed in, even if you don't know the reason. And it sucks while you're going through it.
So while my 2017 had lots of hard days and tears, I've come out of it better than I was before..
I'm ready to make 2018 my bitch.
The Hero Society Series is my main book goal for the year. If you've been a fan of mine for a while, you probably know I jump around to whichever book calls to me. This Superhero world calls to me like crazy. I can't think of anything else but them.
I will be attending Wicked Book Weekend in April and Asheville Author Event as a signing author this year. So I hope to see some of you guys there.
As far as signings as a reader. Only one I am debating is Book Bonanza.. I have a ticket.. I'll decide that as we get closer.
I've built on friendships, lost some, and made new ones. I'm so grateful for all of them. Even the ones lost.
So here's to 2018, a brighter and epic year for all of us.
Thanks for keeping me going.
